This is a custom made 26¨ bike built from a 1960´s bike with our gasoline engine kit.
(The muffler on this bike kit was modified with an extension. The tank, chain guard and sprocket were painted to match the bike. This is not my bike.)
Make the change today and go as green while saving a ton of cash! The engines I sell get apx. 150 mpg and unmodified can go as fast as 33 mph or 53 kph. These of course depend on the riders weight and cargo weight. I highly recommend a bike helmet, mirrors, reflectors, large pedals, a front and rear light kit with turn signals and horn. Speedometer, streamers, orange vest and bike gloves are optional! Spare brake pads and tube might be good to have on hand . Bike Fenders are highly recommend also to keep you and the engine dry.

This complete bicycle engine kit package comes with every thing that you'll need
to convert any men's regular 26" single speed or multi speed Mountain bike with
36 or 28 spokes into a motorized bike. You'll still be able to pedal the bike
and ride like normal or start the engine by releasing the clutch lever. There's
no rope pulling needed, this is an add-on option. You can stop or start the engine as you ride. Twist grip
hand throttle controls speeds from 38 to 53 KPH or 23 1/2 to about 33 MPH
depending on the gear ratio. This installation kit comes with a 44 tooth 9 hole
sprocket with easy to install 9 bolt universal mounting hardware that clamps
over the rear wheel hub and spokes. This creates a totally independent drive
sprocket and chain that does not interfere with your current drive chain or
peddling.
With the built in clutch you maintain full function of the original bike. Pedal,
shift, and ride your bike like normal. The engine kit only adds about 20 lbs or
9 kg to your bike. When you want to engage the engine simply release the clutch
hand lever and the engine springs to life. To power off, simply press the
included kill switch.
What do I need to put my motorized bike together?
1. Requires basic mechanics and simple tools (I will be
listing tools shortly, some ¨sizes¨ will depend on your bike model)
Sprocket needs 10mm wrench and a socket to install bolts.
2. It takes about a few hours to install while using easy to follow detailed
instructions (included).
What type of bicycles with these engines fit on?
The engine requires a clearance of at least 15 inches in height on the seat tube
(the part of the frame under the seat) and 14-15 inches in length on the down
tube (the diagonal part of the frame), and it is approximately 5 inches wide.

We recommend installing these kits on bicycles with a 1 inch diameter seat tube
and with a 1-1.25 inch diameter on the down tube. A fat body tube requires an
adapter plate.

We can order engine replacement parts as well as engines without parts, light
kits which are required on bikes in most countries by law, even if that law may
not always be observed.
I will be happy to engrave the motor with a VIN
number also, if you wish it can be the same as your bike VIN.

Please read this even though it refers to the USA!!!
This 80cc Bicycle Engine DIY Kit package is EPA Approved and meets all
requirements for shipping. In many USA states, the speed limit for gas and
electric motorized bicycles (before you must have registration, license and
insurance) is 20 miles per hour. Our gas powered motorized bicycles are very
strong and capable of being fast. For motor vehicle standards, their emissions
are clean. They get at least 150 miles per gallon.
So on a 1/2 gallon+ or 2.5 liter tank, the gas powered motorized bicycle can
drive 75 miles before you need to refill the tank. They are 2 cycle engines,
meaning that their lubrication is carried in the premixed gasoline. If you
travel too great of a distance, there is a possibility of damaging the engine.
We generally only recommend our gas powered cycles for short trips up to 30
miles at a time.
An understanding of mechanics, basic nuts and bolts, will be necessary. Follow
the maintenance guidelines and learn to troubleshoot, i.e. securely snug 3 areas
around the engine to ensure that gaskets do not leak, adjust the chain and cable
tensions. When the engine is broken in properly, engine life expectancy is
somewhere around 10,000 miles. Engine gaskets, oil seals, crankshaft needle
bearings, rings, and all other service parts are available through us. All of
our motorized bicycles are set up like motorcycles. The clutch is on the left,
throttle and front brake on the right and the rear brake is actuated by a pedal
backwards coaster brake. 2-into-1 brake levers are installed on all multi-speed
bikes. Pull in the clutch, pedal up to 5 or 6 mph and let the clutch out, the
engine kicks right in. There is a choke for cold starting and handlebar mounted
kill switch for stopping. If you would like to pedal freely without the engine,
pull in the clutch and press the locking-pin. These are not centrifugal
clutches, they are friction type dry clutches with serviceable and adjustable
clutch pads and plates.

I currently have a black
bike I bought new as the pawn shops in Chetumal, Mexico were out of used bikes,
I picked it over a blue bike. You can get a used bike at the police station in
Belize, just make sure the receipt has the correct VIN number on it so they
won't take it back later and don't lose it. I have a Black 28¨ Men's Single
Speed imported from India with front and rear hand brakes, it also included a
coaster brake. This Bike is currently for sale in Chetumal. Mexico.

also seen motorcycle cargo carriers mounted on the book rack of these bikes, I
plan on adding/adapting one to mine as they do lock up.
Important Note:
Over the years our manufacturers have advertised their largest sized engines as
80cc engines and therefore is listed in the same manner on our site. However
based on the results provided at the time of EPA Testing and Certification,
these engines have been recorded with a true displacement of 68.5cc being the
largest sized among all bicycle engines currently on the market. There are
currently no true 80cc engines on the market to date and we want to make you
aware of this.
In the future I do plan on adding 2 kinds of electric motors (electric bike) and
possibly the 49cc (moped) gas engine in silver. I do not plan on carrying a
black motor in Mexico or Belize because of the tropical heat and these are air
cooled.
